Ben Carson put people to sleep though. Also, you don't really have to be intelligent for the conservative crowd. Hate to say it, but it's true. Look at the cluster fukk we have now. Also, making a fortune from real estate isn't the same as governing a whole country.
He's still a Black Republican though. They're only but so useful to the GOP. See Herman Cain, JC Watts, and especially Michael Steele. They serve a two fold purpose, one to shield Republicans from accusations of racism, (I can't be racist as I have a Black friend), and two, rebut attacks from Black social and political rivals on issues that whites can only speak so much on. i.e. Clarke going after Marc Lamont Hill most recently. Regardless of being more charismatic than Carson, Clarke is a Black man that is still only but so useful to that crowd. Black Republicans are tolerated, not celebrated. Add to the fact that he's not politically articulate, lacks experience, is not a larger than life figure like Trump, etc., and it's a given he has only limited options in national politics.
That leads to the other reason I don't see him running for higher office. Whether he knows it or not, instinctively he's okay with being what he is as an overseer, a goon, an attack dog for the GOP. He doesn't have the temperament to play politics, be diplomatic, sit in an office, etc.. He'd rather be in what he sees as the trenches, on the front line, taking it to the enemy. The enemy is Black people and really anyone that doesn't think like him. He can't see keeping those folks in check via politics. He'd rather be the leader of the Praetorian Guard, and let somebody else play the role of Caesar.

it's happened too many times around here.. he didn't get WOAT for no reason.. and, he's playing a lot of these dumb folks like fiddles.. a lot us of folks been on code, tho..
Why not. Is he gonna summon his c00n final form?
