A lot of people restate things that countless others have said. Very few things are original.

The voice it's coming from, matters just as much as the message itself.

So some ESPN analyst saying that college students should be paid, probably doesn't mean as much as it does when a Former Student-Athlete who graduated from Stanford, who knows and understands the Student-Athlete Grind, says it.

The College Playoffs Makes Billion of dollars and the only argument they give for why the kids shouldn't be paid, is that it's an "Amateur League". I would agree with that, but the coaches aren't paid like Amateur's. Theres no reason why Coaches should be walking around making 5 million a year for coaching an "amateur league". It must be difficult to struggle to eat well, while your coach pulls up in a brand new Lamborghini. And ultimately, the kids work harder than the Coach.

The term is "Student-Athlete", meaning they're both. Meaning they should enjoy privileges of both. Including getting paid.

They talk about how "you get a free education" when in fact there's NOTHING free about it. It's slave labor and slave wages. 30,000 Scholarship for COUNTLESS hours of work year round, and if you get dropped from the team, guess what? That "free scholarship" goes too.

Nah, fukk that. Answer the question breh. The reason they don't get paid is because it's an "amateur league", so why aren't the coaches paid as amateurs as well? I don't know of any PSAL or AAU coaches making 5 million a year my nikka. Put me on game.

And Like I said, there are no multi billion dollar TV deals for College Wrestling, or Ticket Sell Outs like professional teams, OR Wrestling Coaching making 5 million a year.

Because you answered my question with a question. And I answered you question. are football players the only student athletes who have to balance practice, working out, and classwork? No. But they and basketball players are the only ones that are responsible for multi-billion dollar TV deals and advertising deals. That's my answer. Football Players and Basketball Players bring in a large revenue for the schools, and their Coaches are paid millions, and a lot more than their wrestling coach counterparts. That's why.

some scrub ass offensive lineman isnt responsible at all for multi million dollar tv deals. i played baseball for 4 years. what made me any different than some shyt lineman, or some scrub at the end of the basketball bench that has zero factor into the schools revenue ? the schools dont owe anyone shyt else beyond room, board and a chance to get a degree on the house. athletes making money from third parties/endorsements i have zero problem with. lets hear your solution since you seem to have it all figured out. who gets paid? what do they get paid? we paying shyt ass reserves that dont see the field? everyone gets paid the same? its easy to spout off bullshyt like you are, like bennett is etc. lets hear an actual plan. some schools basketball aint bringing in jack shyt. fukk those basketball players but pay others? lets hear you explain how it works since its so easy. talking about how hard it was for you to balance work and sports in college is some woe is me shyt. theres half a million others doing that same fukking thing, every year

Sherman and Bennett are keeping it all the way real with this shyt. When I was playin college ball I would have regular students make little snide comments like, "you have it easy, you're going to school for free" "you get handouts while we have to get it the hard way"

I told them that I had to work twice as hard as they did with most of my time occupied because of athletic obligation while staying eligible.

Between 6am workouts, class, practice, film then study hall, nikkaz would be dead ass tired only to do the same shyt the next day. Please believe we EARNED every last dollar of that scholarship.

The amount of money that football and basketball generated the school was crazy. The TV deals, boosters and sponsor money that came from athletics funded all of the new buildings on campus (new science hall, auditoriums etc)
