It is from skin to skin contact, condom won't necessarily protect you depending on where she is infected. you might already have it from fingering her...you can theoretically transfer the virus from your hands to genitals but this is probably very very rare.

In discordant couples that use condoms and avoid sex when the infected partner has an outbreak or thinks he/she might be having an outbreak, it takes about a year for the uninfected partner to catch herpes. In couples that didn't take any special precautions, it took around 75 days for the other person to become infected.

You can assume you have a two percent chance of catching herpes every time you have sex with an infected person. Depending on your psychological and mental state of mind it's not worth taking the chance...the stigma of catching herpes will affect most people more than the disease itself.

I have said it before, herpes is literally genital chicken pox, it's a minor inconvenience and something like 80% of people don't show any symptoms after the initial outbreak. I know a many PCPs that don't even test for HSV1/2 unless someone as an active sore.

Now the real question is does she have HPV? Interesting that no one worries about HPV even though HPV will give you cervical cancer, penile cancer, and throat cancer. Have you been vaccinated against HPV?

TLDR: don't do it unless its someone you can see yourself marrying.

OP if you have to ask. Then you know its not a good idea

I'll tell you a story one time I got talking to a chick and she was mega easy like disgustingly easy.

Didn't even need to make any effort for her to fukk. got talking to her half an hour later I was at her place. My gut told me no but my dikk said YES.

fukked her twice over a week then bushed her. A month later she gets in touch by text and says hes been meaning to get in touch with me as she went to the doctors and she found out she had Herpes. So she was letting anyone she's had sex with recently know. She admitted she was sleeping with a lot guys mostly unprotected as she was depressed and wanted to 'feel something'

:damn:

My world almost stopped there. I was sitting on the toilet so I had already shyt myself.

Next day I went to the clinic. and got looked at. The next week was stressful but got the results and I was clear, had many regular assessments over the last two years for piece of mind and sexual health.

And clean as a whistle but you don't want those problems over a skank at that.
