Yep. Same. I stil occasionally give a run to this day. Just like I played the fukk outta 2 back in the day.
Yeah, the great thing about it is that it is accessible and addictive.
Even that survival mode business. Although I can't make it out of the 30s.
I don't mind epics, but there is merit in just being able clock in, have fun, and dip.

Idk if it's already been posted in the thread but Limited Run has a collector's edition available that looks fire.

I remember this when I ordered Streets of Rage 4 from them. Placed the order, forgot because of the time they said it would ship and then randomly getting a package from them close to a year later

Just finished the demo, game is a lot of fun. If they improve handheld mode graphics for Switch 2 by release i might get it there.
