As a character he can't speak english. IWC is going to have to carry his narrative as a top guy because I'm telling you those non-smark Middle America and South crowds aren't going to be losing their minds for a theme song.

Can easily be a Fandango pt. 2 thing (because he is talented but no one cares) if they don't get him in a good long term storyline for the casuals to latch on.

@Momentum opinion that Nakamura could flounder has merit. He currently, to the vast majority of American fans, that Japanese guy with the entrance. Y'all talk about Bobby ROODE being an entrance...Nakamura definitely is to most WWE fans. I don't share the opinion (or an opinion, not to put words on his mouth), that he will fail, but that act has a shelf life.

If he DOESN'T get over and main event SummerSlam and shyt, don't hit me with the "WWE isn't pushing Shinsuke" shyt...They booked him like crazy in nxt...And made give him like 10 minutes on his Sd debut...

I mean, It's true that middle and south of the US wont relate and very likely wont react to Nakamura as a big deal and sing along his theme. But who fukking cares? Barely anyone is over with those crowds in this day and age and it's not like they are a difficult to turn around if they see something worth a damn or that is "hip". Momentum might not be convinced but we aren't even 2 weeks in to be projecting that to half of the US

I have no clue what his presentation in NXT and his debut have to do with how he'll be booked in 4 more months. A whole lot can happen in that time to be doing statements of what should or shouldn't be said about anyone's position come Summerslam. Of course, if he gets heavily pushed for 2 months and it doesn't work and he isn't featured in Summerslam, it would be dumb to complain about it.
