Ah shyt...at first I was like “who?”, but I always just referred to this breh in my head as Humpty. Very talented, and I’d say underrated artist.


RIP to the brother. Tupac probably wouldn’t have been what he was without this dude.

Hip Hop wouldn't be what it is without this dude, theres a bunch of groups that wouldn't have existed without DU paving the way for making unorthodox shyt fly. Shock and DU put on so many talented artists, the average hip hop fan probably doesn't realize the lineage.

I was only 5 when DU came on the scene so I only knew Humpty Dance and Doowutchyalike at first. Got a lil older and got that Sex Packets album and was blown away. This certified classic stayed in heavy rotation for years to come.
