This death is one of the hardest hitting deaths I've ever experienced.

The one thing that stands out in my mind is when Shock ripped Bob Davis a new a$$hole(pause) for disrespecting and downplaying the accomplishments of George Clinton and the P-Funk Mob. For that, Shock gets my eternal respect.

Rest In Beats and Thank You.

Late career Digital Underground albums sound timeless. It’s real weird with this guy.

If you are speaking personally it's just which artist spoke to you more. I agree, I bought almost every DU album, I listened to DMX's first album didn't like it and never actively checked for him again. Regardless, it's brothers who made a big impression in this Hip Hop culture who deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments.
