I wasn't sure he was a rapper either (lol), but when he was on screen I said "I know who that is..."
so I stayed to watch the credits and was like "Oh, yeah..."

you'd be surprised at how many people know Compton Menance because of his f*ckery with 40 Glocc (several videos), being with Game before openly beefing with him on twitter and then the infamous Dubb car show sh*t between him and YG.

Nah its alot of dope stories on the east. What really did this story justice was the quality of the production writing n the acting.

Biggie movie was str8 to bet status.
If they did biggies joint with better acting n production and more from d-roc pov than ms wallace shyt couldve been way iller.

Even wu that story is crazy. How all these goons from diff hoods(some being enemies) rally around one dude n put their future in his hands n it works. The stubenville shyt. Odb was a walking movie by hisself.

I hope this starts a trend of these hollywood dikkheads handling our stories with the proper respect.

They need to do a Public Enemy film that ain't watered down.

I've been listening to mad NWA, Ice Cube, & Dre music in the last week.

One thing I noticed was the vast improvement in the writing and rhyming skills of these dudes from Straight Out of Compton to nikkas 4 Life & Amerikkk's Most Wanted.

It also stood out to me that on the Chronic, they of course dissed Eazy, Tim Dog, Luke, & Jerry Heller viciously on the album by name several times. But when they dissed Cube on Dre day, they threw the jab in there but made sure not to call out his name. It was like a half-measure diss. It made me wonder if Dre really wanted to diss Cube at all, but was talked into doing it by all the hungry young nikkas in the camp.

A whole new generation is hearing I Aint The One for the first time,Eazy E legacy finally about to be where it belongs,No Vaseline finally bout to be the number one diss track on everybody list.

This movie is incredible for so many reasons,thank you Cube,F Gary,NWA,Compton,the fans....You don't realize how many people Ive talked to about this movie and 90% of them all talked about how they wanna go back to see it twice.....is it to early to give this movie classic status

probably was just scared.
cube was still on the top of his game lyrically and would have probably roasted even harder the next time.
even in 1996 he got cypress hills ass. people wasn't really trying to see him with that beef shyt.

I thought Notorious was okay besides the obvious ducktales parts....I remember saying it was probably bcause his moms was involved that it wasn't better,but when I thought back on it,they actually made Biggie look like a piece of shyt in the movie....Willing to sell crack to pregnant women,treating Kim like shyt,choking the hell outta Faith,deadbeat pops.

So it cant be said they was trying to do a fluff piece on Biggie,they probably just really needed to add more Puff into the story to make it complete,Derrick Luke didn't seem all that much like how he's been described or how we've seen him....unless he was way more laid back,humble before he rode Biggies corpse straight to the top.

Probaly didn't want to be in the movie much so he could save his story for his own movie nobody wants to see

He would've been a good secondary character to Biggie though with a better casting,and Cease was horrible,they really did give Lil Kim no depth like she was just born to be a whore and nothing else

You know what,that movie really did stink afterall after seein SOC

I guess that's an advantage of having multiple characters you feel like you have to focus on,Notorious they were really just focused on Biggie it seems like in terms of story....That makes sense for a biopic,but the whole story is better when everybodys character is strong in the movie....They don't even like Jerry Heller and they still gave him a strong character because he was important in the Eazy story, and it was a better movie for that...lesson learned for the next biopic.
