LMAO. How is it ok for a sports game to have yearly releases but not non-sports games? Madden and 2K release the same game every year with very minor improvements and 2K and EA charge full price. Ubisoft drops Creed with different characters, different storylines, different maps and locales and they need to stop doing it? So far AC 1 and Unity have been the only two real let downs. Maybe some of the games haven't been as good as others, but they are far from trash.
With that being said, if Syndicate does turn out to truly be trash, then yeah, that's two in a row and maybe Ubisoft needs to take a different approach at that point. From where I'm sitting, that's more about management than the series itself.

Ubi hate is a direct result of Ubi making poor, unoptimized, broken games in the past. It makes sense. Watch dogs was a stuttering mess, unity didn't work right for months, and far cry 4 was fukked up for months too. Not to mention all their games follow the same formula. The hate is completely justified.

On of those situations where someone expected a game to be bad so they rushed out a review shytting on it and then has to backpedal when its revealed the game is actually pretty good. You see the same thing happen with music and movies.

Hating on ubi is the "in" thing to do these days. Most of the dudes hating on the games have not played them and were never interested in the first place.
