Lol looked at my 401k statement a few weeks ago and it said for the 2055 plan (2055 being the year I retire)...I'll be 70 mind you...I need 2.1 million dollars saved.

If that happens then civilization will race faster than ever before.
Then the concept of an occupation will cease to exist. Even other first world countries are making wages for citizens every month as the age of automation looms closer.

The whole system will have to fail before govt employees go broke in retirement, so there's an extra layer of cushion there.
The private sector guys have to do way more saving and a lot more finger crossing. But, you can make 150k a year in 10 years, and ride it out for the next 35 years of your career and retire. Only way to make 100k+ in govt is to stay there for 20+ years.
