Thats the game. And these brands dont even have to advertise like that. You never see commercials or billboards. Just count on your favorite artists to rap/sing about it and/or wear it on screen and the red carpet.


That said, how we accounting for the folks that technically have no income, as its all illegal?

well when rich people make up like 5% of the population, of course their consumption is not going to reach the level of the remaining 95%

Over 20 years ago when i was in college worked at the bel air country club my freshman year

Seeing all this wealthy white money come in and yeah there was the nice cars but the outfits they wore ladies and men was the average department store brand but like @ViShawn said it was all about art , vases, statues, etc etc

Meanwhile i go back to Inglewood or vist Compton or Long Beach my people was name brand from head to toe, updated cellphone at the time, jewelry iced out,, but accounts was looking funny

Honestly i think everyone in here is reading this information the wrong way.

The wealthy are the top 1% of the population but they are still responsible for 25% of the luxury brand purchases. That means they still buy more of this stuff per household than everybody else.
"It's not rich people doing the most."

Actually this means that technically rich people still are doing the most.
