I’m more of this perspective right now. Injuries sidelined him.. but the way baseball is set up, he’ll never be able to fully flourish at both.
He's not average, he's exactly as advertised. An elite pitcher, and an above average hitter. He's just not a MVP or anything like that is all

He's actually really good. He's an ace pitcher with one of the best fastballs and the best splitter in the game. I think the splitter was unhittable for a while.
As a hitter he's doing way better than anyone expected and he even changed his entire mechanics with that short heel turn as opposed to the long kick.
