I don't understand, when she said what he made me do to have a child? That whole monologue confused me.

Taiko, her husband is infertile but wanted heir for his crown…even though she hasn’t said it, I’m assuming he made her sleep with many guys till she was pregnant to pass off as his own.
Another wild shot but I think Tornaga has something to do with that & that’s why she want him gone.

But that didn't make sense, especially since Mariko didn't follow Anjin when he left with the escort in the next room, alone.
