This is nothing. Ohtani wanted a house in Hawaii. Apparently the developers were using his image, his dog and his wife to lure other rich ppl to buy in. Thats when Ohtani backed out of the deal.

Othani was apart of the development deal of the luxury homes being built in Hawaii. He gets one of the homes and is the face of the project, among other things, as the homes were targeted to rich Japanese & Asian investors. Supposedly Othani and his agent were squeezing the main developer and the broker of the project - I guess over cash, more benefits - for the past couple of years and the these two guys lost millions and eventually got fired. Now they're suing Othani and his agent.

Yeah, but this deal was signed in 2018. Before he got married and got a big contract. People said they started using images of his fam and promising different things with Ohtani. Thats when the agent got upset.

The only thing we know is the allegations by the two, the developer and his realtor for the property.
They have made a claim, the claim isn't that Ohtani didn't honor the contract it is that his agent kicked them out the contract.
