vegas didn't give a dam they was right back to business after this...their only objective after the "tragedy" was protecting their tourism appeal and allure...the resort was sending me incentives to come back no less than 2 weeks after the shooting

A knife is lesser of the evils, a person with a knife can't kill multiple people compared to a person with a gun.

How exactly would they have prevented this given the size of the property, the number of guests who stay there, hotels being one of the prime places people move large bags luggage.... this isn’t the same as a club that has lot more control over the people who come in and events taking place. Vegas hotels and Casinos are always full of people not even staying there. Mandalay Bay hotel should not have been shut down because of one nut case. There are precautions they can implement for the next event, but that bizarre event was definitely out of their hands.
