Ehhh, that beat wasn't too far off from soem of the other stuff rock-influenced track RDMC used to rap on.

You can make a better case for the Beastie Boys than you can using that song.

Good point but the visuals of an old crappy Rock Group working with high profiled rap group like Run DMC in that time period changed the game as far as record companies more of the pop-rock type sound rather than the rugged street boom bap

But the Run DMC Aerosmith song was better. lol. I feel you tho, the shop boyz song did usher in a era. And made Ed Hardy millions.

Walk this way was a popular break beat before run dmc used it,.crash crew dissed run dmc on the break beat 2 years before run dmcs walk this way was released..and the crash crews version is better than the run dmcs version to me..
