99% of the women in our community can definitely afford to make that mistake. The black womans invisible other husband(The European) offers an attractive out for women to "do their big one" and kick their bad choices to the curb. And in a sense you cosigned it as an ideal scenario ,with saying Angela Simmons child is "better off" without the father. This is a dangerous yet common ideology within the community. Women have been programmed to instinctively rationalize why the child is better off without the father at the first hint of trouble or unhappiness. Once you can rationalize why its better for a father to not be in the household for one reason, its only a matter of time before it snowballs. And soon the father is rationalized away entirely.



If women in our community cant afford it,I cant tell. Of all the women ive known to be having babies without a father in the picture. Or making plans to leave they weak ass baby daddy. They rarely seem distraught or worried about survival. Alot of time its the same kind of excitement and non chalantness I see in this video:respect:

I didn’t co-sign it. I said Angela clearly chose wrong. The dude was a scammer/drug dealer who was MURDERED. Yea; he was probably mixed up in some horrible shyt and the baby will have much better examples in the Simmons family 🤷🏾‍♀️

And no our women cannot afford to make this mistake. Our community ain’t rich and most single mothers don’t have the resources to put their kids in better environments despite the lack of a father.

A single mom engineer, accountant or physician? Yea she gon be aight. But that isn’t most of our ladies.
