furthermore, you can have tall kids despite being short. My pops is 5'10, yet his male children are 5'10, 6,1 and 6'4

5'10 isn't short tho, that's considered above average.

Abnormally short is anything under 5'4, normal short is between 5'5-5'7, average height is between 5'8-5'9, and above average height is 5'10-5'11.

6'0 and up is tall. However, those around 5'10 and 5'11 tiptoe the line of being tall, which for some people would be viewed as such depending on who you ask, but ain't nothing short about 5'10-5'11.

Any dude that's 5'10-5'11 is gonna look tall in person, often times they're confused for being 6'0+ since most people, men in particular, are usually somewhere between 5'6 and 5'8.
