It's a good argument, but I still say no. The QB's they have, have been horrible and rusty. Especially Seneca Wallace, who wasn't very good to begin with.

i'm not being selective, i know how important QB is in this league, but before he got hurt Rodgers was winning with backups all over the field on offense, and without his best defensive player. that deserves credit in my book

....exactly, so how are fools gon' act like the award AIN'T been about this - in the NFL AND the NBA - for at least the last 10-20 years?

Cats have this SAME ass debate every year, and it always boils down to the same thing: best player on the best team. NOT "most valuable to their team, which clearly involves affect on team when player isn't there", which is what MVP should stand for but never has (at least, not in MY lifetime).

Ditto for the Heisman.
