Neither are worthy of a Wrasslemania main event, not big stars who have proven to be draws

simple as that

What does that even mean.

When they make the video packages for these feuds they will all be terrible cause they are all a bunch of feuds about nothing. Nothing happened....ever. Besides wrestling matches. Its boring as fukk.

This is true, lot of feuds have been built over time but many are just WEAK

Goldberg/Lesnar is legit the only long term feud that has a spark to it

Yep but theres a reason why most people dont watch now. Being stuck in the times when wrestling was getting 7.0 and higher ratings on two different channels is not bad. And I agree most of it is due to terrible storylines and 0 character development, but guys who look phony is a part of it too. Another problem Id think is having extended matches every single week instead of saving anything for PPV which also lends to the storyline issue.

Think we as hardcore fans are sometimes too stuck in the wrasslin bubble and arent looking outside to see what the problems really are. Lot of fans think they want more wrasslin, more clean finishes etc.... then you watch attitude era and see non stop fukkery which was the highest rated stuff ever. I dont think the fans even know what they want anymore

Despite the media coverage, wrestling just isn't popular anymore. That's a fact.

Ratings go down every year, people you knew growing up stopped watching, only 1 fed to tune into. Only so much people can watch a shytty product and continue on. There's a lot of reasons why people don't care for wrestling anymore. :manny:

Are the current storylines unsatisfactory to you? Shortsided?
  • Orton / Wyatt has had a 7+ month buildup
  • Goldberg Brock have a career feud and have had a buildup for months
  • Charlotte Bailey Sasha has been their plan since NXT
  • Reigns taker has been on their radar since they backed reigns heavy
  • They built up Strowman for a year, he's credible
  • AJ Shane has had a slow build (like it or not it's not shortsided)
  • Cena Miz have a career rivalry and they've added hot girls to the feud
  • HHH / Rollins has been a year in the making
  • Samoa Joe being added to this feud is a way to make him look major.
What would you like instead? "Booking sucks" is no longer a worthy reply in 2017 tsc

It's not really booking, but the fact people may not be invested in the actual feuds or stories.

Do people really give a shyt about Bray/Orton when we all knew months ago Orton would turn? An audible could of been thrown with Bray turning on Orton, but even tho it would be a little twist, it still wouldn't get me invested in a match.

Reigns isn't a fan favorite and having him go over Taker will only further the boos.

Nobody wants Shane "Spot Monkey" Mcmahon against the best wrestler on the roster, especially after last Mania's :trash: match.

Just some examples.

Wrestling bubble. If you look at the post in the sports forum here bout ESPN covering WWE, you see what people who dont watch wrestling think when they see Kevin Owens. With all due respect to KO, hes not just fat but he has no muscle. He could at WORST get his arms looking strong. He doesnt look intimidating at all. Even back in the day jobbers were jacked and looked like they would fukk you up. Someone like that is pushing away potential viewers.

I like KO as a wrestler and as a promo guy, but that is a big problem.
Kevin Owens looks like a guy that wrestles in high school gyms for some indie promotion once a month. I like him but he doesn't look like a wrestler. He looks like a tow truck driver that chews tobacco and doesn't believe in the liberal media.

If these part timers really drew then last night's RAW would be a big rating but it was on par with what it always is. Truth is they've lost viewers year by year because beyond a single match or moment the part timers don't move the needle and the full timers are treated like scrubs

Ratings are always at their highest for WM season and they're barely that much higher this year.

How far did they fall from last year?
WWE Raw rating for the March 6 show - Pro Wrestling Dot Net

Monday’s WWE Raw scored a 2.28 rating, up from the 2.16 rating the show drew last week. Raw averaged 3.216 million viewers, up from the 3.092 million average from last week.

Powell’s POV: The third hour lost over 400,000 viewers. Undertaker was unadvertised, but the company did hype Chris Jericho vs. Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowman calling out Roman Reigns. The March 7, 2016 edition of Raw delivered a 2.59 rating with 3.551 million viewers.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is with an asterisk because yesterday's show was right after a PPV. Even with that in mind, there is still a noticeable decline.

Can't lie, was curious to see how emotionally invested the crowd would have been for KO/Irvine with the main title on the line.

AJ obviously a yes though. Thought he would have dropped to Cena for the 16th
