Yes. Expand it to 8.

Division 2 and 3 are able to do it with no problem.

They’re going to expand. Too much money on the table not too.

If you are for an 8 team or more playoff than you are anti- College football period.

This goes for 6 teams too.

So is 2 teams more pro college football then? What about old school... Conferences assigned to certain bowl games no matter rankings and let the polls decide? Just trying to figure out where the anti college football and pro college football line is drawn.

anything that lessens the importance of the regular season is anti CFB.

City of Angels :blessed:
Conference championship games feel so useless nowadays. I would eliminate those and just determine conference champs by regular season record, and if you do that, you can easily add four more teams for an 8-team playoff. And by doing that you aren't adding any extra games.

I believe he's saying that for half the teams in the ncaa the regular season isn' important, because even if they win all their games they have no shot at a title.

So that's my question...did the 4 team playoff lessen the importance of the regular season? Did the BCS championship game lesson the importance? Was it better when there was no championship game? Just trying to find where the arbitrary line is.

If you are in a power 5 conference and win all your games then you get a shot at the title

No, the 4 team didn’t lesson the regular season cause if you have more than 1 lost you are not getting into the final 4
