The problem is it's hard enough adding 1 more game to the schedule (when they added the 4-team playoff). An 8-team playoff would mean 2 more games than the BCS era.

I say a 6 team playoff with the Top 2 teams receiving a first round bye. Don't wanna add too many teams because it'll take away from the regular season. I like the fact that its Any Given Saturday and every game counts.

I hope not. They had unofficial playoff games during the last few weeks of the season. Adding more teams would make those games matter less in my opinion.

It looks bad because the No. 1 team looked like they shouldn't be there and UCF beat Auburn, but I give a ton of credit to Saban for preparing his team against that offense. Also, the same goes to Scott Frost for basically running two programs.
