What this comes down to is experience.
This is why qb's used to sit for a couple years before they started. Aaron Rodgers sat for a few years behind Brett Favre, and you see how good dude is? You see Tyrod Taylor coming out of nowhere basically and doing a good job, and he sat for a while as well.
Andrew Luck forces the ball too much and chucks it at any little thing he see's. That's a bad habit, because it leads to turn overs. Maybe he wouldn't have it if he sat behind a veteran for a while and watched.
