Nigerians are the least employed??

:what:

DUDE..U DONT KNOW WHAT THE fukk YOU'RE TALKING BOUT

AND THIS IS ONE OF THE PROBLEMS FACING THE BLACK COMMUNITY

A BUNCHA CLUELESS IDIOTS SPEAKING ON THINGS THEY DONT KNOW JACK BOUT

:snoop:
Blacks have highest unemployment among foreign-born workers | Economic Policy Institute

Nigerians Are The Most Educated Immigrants In The United States - Naija Center | Naija Center News

The reasons Nigerians have more postgraduate degrees than any other racial or ethnic group are largely due to Nigerian society’s emphasis on mandatory and free education. Once immigrating to the U.S., practical matters of immigration laws get in the way. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 made it easier for Africans to enter the U.S., but mostly as students or highly skilled professionals — not through family sponsorships, Klineberg said. So many Africans pursue higher levels of education as an unintended consequence of navigating the tricky minefield of immigration, said Amadu Jacky Kaba, an associate professor at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, who has done research on African immigrants in the U.S.

“In a way, it’s a Catch-22 — because of immigration laws you are forced to remain in school, but then the funny thing is you end up getting your doctorate at the age of 29,” Kaba said. “If you stay in school, immigration will leave you alone.”
^^^^they get grants and loans to go to school, so they stay in school

So the question is, if education is seen as an enabler not necessarily an equalizer, how come for blacks or Africans, the outcome of their education appears less than? Does this stretch the notion that equal opportunity as in education, does not mean equal outcome?
^^^^^Blacks of all backgrounds get educations, but achieve less. I wonder why:ohhh:

there's 250m white people in US and you think they're all united :dead:

they have their own beefs. rich vs poor, liberal vs conservative, atheist vs religious, racist vs the "race traitors" who date outside their race. come on now, bruh.
They are more united than black folks.

It's funny that you are saying this now when before you were saying black people are the only ones who dissed their educated. Now you're saying white people do it too:rudy:

In 8th grade I had this teacher, he was different than any I've ever had before. He was a retired military dude that invested and made some good money and was teaching because he seriously wanted to make a difference. He would go at anyone for the kids, even the principal and school staff members, he had nothing to lose because he didn't need the money. Dude took his own money, HIS OWN MONEY, and bought our entire class brand new books and decided to teach the class away from simple curriculum and do it the right way.

We werent allowed to take these books out of class, if you wanted to study you needed to take notes. Dude went on a small vacation and when he came back the students had destroyed the books and had written curse words and profanity all through the books (subs didn't know they were his and left the out). I'll never forget how badly that cat cussed our class out. God only knows how much money he spent for like 30 brand new textbooks

So I understand why people get theirs, get out, and never come back

WOW

*waits for the posters that will ignore this post*

nikkas need to go to boot camp or just get a damn lobotomy.

It would be great if black people revisited this whole "talented tenth" idea. Not the elitist, bourgeois, pretentious, dikk up the ass, I'm not like you other nikkas :scusthov: Jack-N-Jill/Boule crowd. But real nikkas doing real things :smugdraper:

Maybe for our generation....its just black men building the foundation, starting small businesses & firms, getting good jobs, scrapping to get things back on track. It would probably be a good idea for us to start buying property & getting foreign business owners out of our communities. Working a 9-5 is cool but, our development as a community wont come from whites giving us a leg up. You need to own shyt. Maybe only 20% of us men make it out of the cycle & the rest end up :deadrose: Its real out here :whoo:

You focus on raising your kids right, he'll focus on raising his right, and when they're of age, we'll be old heads and hopefully we built the foundation enough to open some doors for them. More lawyers, engineers, cardiologists/surgeons & hedge fund managers/investment bankers instead of rappers & athletes. fukk your basketball dreams, you going to Stanford :demonic: We built the foundation, maybe our kids can take it further. Really start getting this long paper :lawd:

Then our grandchildren might actually have a shot at accumulating some wealth :ehh: Maybe the previous generation would now have valuable property to hand down to their kids to jumpstart their lives, maybe they could invest $50,000 in their child's business like Jews/Whites be doing now. Just a large community of black elders in general who're calling shots and can give them opportunities. Barack Obama is nice but, I want some Black Henry Kravises, Larry Pages & Riley Bechtels :wow:

Since more black people are graduating from college nowadays, I think that the community will gradually get better in the next 30 or so years from now. Especially children and grandchildren of immigrants that became engineers/ bankers/ doctors/ lawyers that will grow up under them.

blacks only became full citzens in the late 70s/early 80s honestly. so in two or three generations, we should be good

I'd also say that we started receiving more equal opportunities for education & training around the same time, so yeah I agree with the two or three generations.

I'm going to build that kind of legacy for my family

They should, but at the same time who would listen.. unless the person is lil wayne, nikki M., or rick ross or some other entertainer.

If you the brother who runs american express and u looking to give back alot of local black folks wouldn't care..

our mindset nowadays is stuck on so much materialistic items if u place computers and books in the community they'll just sit

Real talk, I always thought a financial literacy show hosted by 50 Cent or some other semi-articulate (at least) rapper would do well among black people and might actually cause some positive change in spending patterns.

Also, wealthy blacks ought to be setting funds where payments are given in exchange for these hood mothers getting their tubes tied.

I hate to say it, but I think there's a lot of genetic garbage wafting among us. The best solution would be to nip that crap in the bud before it can spawn and create a bigger problem.

Either that, or we recruit high IQ negroes like Obama and Clarence Thomas to go around the hood and rape bytches so they can pop out smarter offspring, but unfortunately, this is illegal.

Southern California…
instead of baby running around flashing and buying bugatti's for everyone ( I'M NOT MAD AT THAT AT ALL HE'S LIVING LIFE ), he should at least sometimes tell the youngins about how to handle business and save there money..

But in all honesty we at a point in time where getting money fast is the way of life in the black community and in some people eyes waiting to go to college and getting a good job is a waste of time they feel they dont have

So what your saying is your desire to stunt keeps you from living in these neighborhoods? Because outside of flaunting how exactly would the people around you know that you got a promotion/a better job, or how would they know that you have things to clean out when youre not home. The way you think is no different then people who think "i aint going to no africa....them nikkas over there still living in huts and shyt.."

I made over 100k last year and still stay in the hood, nobody broke into my house, nobody tried to rob me, none of that.
.............

ur skewed take on reality does nothing more then help you rationalize why its ok for you not to do your part in these communities.

How about prior years? :mjpls:

Yeah. Some people like to stunt and show off. Problem is, the 9 to 5 can't sustain that lifestyle
