You can't bench him, the Giants gave dude an enormous contract. You couldnt get rid of him if you tried.

It's easy to say if Tyree and Manningham didn't catch those passes, but they did. Eli's gonna get a pass for years whether some like it or not because of those SB Wins.

Posted just to say this. I admit he's been at his worst since he took over for Kurt Warner back in 2004, but the rest of the team has been havin their
moments too. Miscommunication on the receivers' part, runningbacks that only took until Thursday to wake up, defense that only had two amazing quarters all season, and that was as Vick was leaving and Foles got in for his first couple drives, and that
-acting o-line. The only consistent player out there is Weatherford, and we all see how many times he's out there. Of course, we can look at the injuries, but the Giants still have quality players that can show us something. I'm no Eli apologist, but there's other pieces to this puzzle.
