Anything viral should but I understand why it's not morally. It can be embarrassing and humiliating...if you wanna smash a broad raw just go get tested together :francis:

Too many hoes out here with herpes for me to get caught slipping. And yes I know a condom won't 100% prevent you from getting herpes

fukk no.

At the end of the day everyone has a personal responsibility for their own health. If you're afraid of stds then strap up and don't engage in wanton rampant sex. If you have concerns about a partner ask them to take a test. Hell go take one together.

However nothing good would come from a shaming list essentially for people who may have contracted an std through means outside of their control like rape or molestation. Secondly unless you're having sex with said person why would you need to know their health information?

Horrible idea. Please rethink this one and try again.

I don't have anonymous/casual sex.
I talk to my relationship partners about it.
My ex-girlfriend didn't tell me she had herpes until we'd broken up.
I took a STD test + herpes test monthly for an entire year out of fear I may have caught an STD from a liar after a three year relationship.
I don't have it :whew: But not knowing is some scary shyt. I should probably feel bad for people, but my genital safety is more important :camby:

everyone's internet history should be made public too.

that way we can know who posts outrageous things online and stay away from them too
I agree.

I also think once we have the technology we should embed chips in people's brains so we can know when a person has problematic thoughts and we can stop them before they do anything.

Maybe some sort of centralized database that spits out balls with names and a pre crime unit.

There is such a thing as HIPAA. What doctor would violate that to publish a private medical condition to a public database? None.

If HIPAA hypothetically did not exist - most people who may be at risk for AIDS/HIV would simply be too afraid to get tested and published.

Which would bring the epidemic back to mid 80's crisis levels and undo all the progress in prevention and treating that has made.

Terrible idea.
Then make testing mandatory.

Sounds like a good plot for a distopian SF movie. HIV-infected people are on a database, thus given the moronic thinking of most they end up being marginalized, lose jobs, friends, house, all move into a fukked up ghetto that nobody cares about and that is closed, develop their own parallel society, that somehow gets blamed for everything wrong in the mainstream:ehh:
Hmm when you put it that way this idea only sounds better !

I swear there are a lot of dudes on this forum who make threads without thinking beyond their immediate gut reaction and engage in no critical thinking skills. It makes me fear for our future.

People always want the gov't to enforce what they aren't able to do themselves.

Its easy to go to a clinic, rite-aid, or planned parenthood for a free/low cost STD/HIV test but people are lazy and want to fukk right now.

Its easy to lawyer up and ask your hospital for a DNA test after delivery to avoid unnecessary child support but for some reason men are too p*ssy to do that too so they need the gov't to make it mandatory.

It all comes down to doing your due diligence. If you aren't willing to do it then you can't get mad at the consequences.

Nope. Not all sex crimes are created equal, yet they all get hit with the sex offender label and have their privacy undermined for the greater public good.

HIV/AIDS should be the same way. Yeah. Not all people contracted it the same way. But, for the greater public good, it's good to know who has it and who doesn't in a community.

Same goes for ebola exposure and anything else.
I'm about to say something that those of you who still are in the mind of thinking of Hiv AIDS in 80s and 90s will freak out about.

Most people who contract HIV these days unless they are completely destitute will not die of the disease and will go on to live their lives normally

I'm going to even further blow your mind in saying that with proper treatment that some Infected people can have unprotected sex and not pass the disease at all due to modern medications reducing the viral load to such low levels it won't transmit

HIV hasn't been on the epidemic level similar to Ebola since the the mid 90s. So the zealous voracity that you guys want to go after HIV infected people does not match the current threat level. Get up to date on this information

If you don't know the health of your partner that is your issue. Condoms protect against most STDs. Particularly HIV. Only std that has a problem with condoms is herpes and despite our social aversion to herpes,it's one of the most common and asymptomatic diseases around. Ask your partner to take a test and make your decision wisely if you run into problems. If they refuse then cut them off or do you.

However you don't have a right to know my individual health information. I'm not fukking you so what good does it do you to know anything about me.

I have a theory that a lot of these dudes frontin are carrying something and just want company, hence want the government to locate potential friends for them

You can probably make a convincing case for it in the realm of dating /having sex, but there's more to life than that.

Should people with stds be denied life insurance because of it? Should they be denied jobs? Should they be discriminated against in the housing market? In the legal system ? In the medical system ?

There's too much Stigma associated with AIDS especially for involuntary disclosure to not cause pure chaos in this society. For some people, when they here HIV they think immoral, irresponsible , whore/freak, probably always sick, and on the fast track to death. No one will want to hire that person, insure that person, or live next to that person. And because African Americans comprise higher rates of new aids cases, such a law would wreak havoc on an already suffering community.

Terrible idea
