Should i buy a 3 series?

im looking at a4 or 3 series if its a 5 series it gotta be older
dont wanna look like i got too much money so mercedes is out the question

Well get the 3-Series. I'd actually recommend the 5-Series though. If you cant get an F10 5, a later model E60 5 is still a better car than a E90 3series to me. The interiors and options are all the same anyway. Fuel economy and aesthetics are what you should base it off of since the mechanics and options are all identical.
