Last time I sold something on eBay the guy just didn't like it. He lied to eBay and told them something about it was wrong and they forced me to refund him. What happens is eBay then pays the buyer what they paid and comes after you to get their money back.
I actually didn't end up paying them because I shipped the item in two separate boxes and eBay messed up the return shipping so they canceled the transaction to get their money back. In the end they buyer got a refund and I got to keep the money from the purchase and eBay ate the cost but that was only because they made a mistake.
That was 2 years ago. I haven't sold anything on there since because I saw first hand how easy it is for a buyer to lie to eBay and get a refund.
