maybe if people started saying the name of the phone instead of android people will treat it differently. That’s the problem when you have an OS system that uses a bunch of different phones vs an OS that used one phone,
My homie got the latest iPhone. He couldn't even go out with the crew to eat last week and I'm not one of them homies that be like "if I got it, my homie got it too"

They charge by memory dumbass. Androids and iPhones can both cost up to $1300.
Samsung Flip 6 is still an "Android" based smartphone.

On average, Android phones cost more than Apple/iOS phones. So I doubt anyone would think you're poor

I've seen people become more accepting of Android over the years.
A lot of these iPhone users didn't pay full price for their phones, let alone from an actual Apple store, got their shyt used, or bought them straight out of a corner store
