Should I take a Desktop Support position instead of Help Desk?

I want to, because I feel like I'll be able to do more.

I've done Help Desk but not Desktop Support. Just worrying if I'm ready?

I dont have any certs but I've built my own computer. I've worked with active directory.

From my experience a lot of Desktop Support is basically in person Help Desk. Shouldn't be hard at all. If you come across any issues, ask Google or your colleagues. You'll rarely come across an issue someone hasn't seen before

Normally I’d say desktop support as that is seen as a step above help desk, HOWEVER

Because of the virus, I’d go with help desk if the pay similar as normally (not my dumbass company) has options to work remote.
