What schooling u need n whats this job title called

Field Service Engineering

I have no schooling, I just did IT Field Services for a hospital before this

If you want to get into IT, just grind it out at the Service Desk for a few years, then apply for Desktop Support somewhere

Yeah. I got accepted for another job, permanent but it's only $22

This one interests me just because it seems like a unique skillset

Whats the other job?

If its none-technical , take this one instead

How do the benefits look as well?

Will either job pay for schooling? healthcare? PTO?

Yes take the 6th month, job. The auto industry is not that easy to get into and you can get yourself plugged in to other places easily. $3 dollars an hour is almost an extra 2500-3000 plus you'll have opportunities for overtime most likely.

You tryna be comfortable or you tryna grow and go higher in your income, workplace etc?

If you tryna be comfortable take the permanent position, if not, take the 6 month one.

The auto plant one sounds more chill tho.

What's the other position that's not the auto plant one? Sounds like you'll learn a lot more at the auto plant one.

In my experience in IT, the most valuable jobs are the ones where you learn new things and can take that to another company.

I just got hired for another one that's permanent doing the same shyt I was doing at the same pay, 3 dollars less

I interviewed for this one before
Didn't get it but I stayed in contact with the recruiter

I want to take it I just hate interviewing

Not looking forward to doing it again after the layoff in 6 months if I don't get rehired

So both of them are the exact same jobs?

Is the 6 month temp job a temp to permanent possibly?

Eh I don't know about leaving a permanent job for a temp job that only pays slightly more :patrice: you don't want to be on the street next March

I probably wouldn't unless I really hated the permanent job.
