An ex of mine painted a picture of me as an orisha sometime ago and I hung it up in my room. It's a great painting but sometimes it makes me recall our relationship and all the good times. Should I take it down?

I wouldn't. If it makes you feel emotional then take it down and throw it away. This makes me think of when Tony had that picture of him with the horse from the Sopranos lol.
Im torn. It's a really well done piece and has some spiritual value to me because of the orisha bit maybe I should bush it. Thanks for the advice.
I feel you. If I was you I'd keep it as a memento of where you've been emotionally and the experiences that you shared wit her, and where you are now.
