enjoyed the beginning but i had plenty of issues likewise with infinity pool.
These films with the same set up tropes try to start well then spiral into some foolery that makes no sense!

They 100% exist and the director (he did midsommar too) is probably in one he need to be on a watchlist.
That movie had real sigils and real rituals, and if you know how sigils charge putting one in a movie that millions of people will potentially see down the line…
I forget who told me to watch it but I watched it at like 1am so it didn’t get to the house part til 3ish.
I turned off the tv so fast after the movie was over.
I seen a lot of gory movies but hereditary on some other shyt, they need to never make another movie like that again ever in life.
I cut that shyt off after an hour and 20 mins. Right when the mom was possessed by the "daughter" in the living room. I'm good

We drunk the “blood” of Jesus and ate a cracker to represent his body every first Sunday in a Baptist church. Even as a child I knew religion was sick. The voodoo and Wiccan ones were no more crazy than ours

Ngl I experienced a lot of that kind of shyt from this film. Like that whole transfer of the energy shyt I can see that shyt irl (when I get really high I can only feel it sober) shyt scary af my soul wasn’t right a few months ago I can feel the difference now. No kizz I don’t even like horror films like that no more and I used to stay falling asleep to em. The movie isn’t scary to me but it’s very realistic insidious is too but the usuals in hereditary is some shyt you’d see if you got the third eye opened. Amazing modern horror film though, if you don’t sleep for a day or two you’d be surprised at what one would see and I’ll leave it at that.

it's really not that scary. it reminded me of the shining a LOT with the focus on 'horrible' faces frozen in fear.. like the kid at the desk, and pretty much every face the mom pulled. its cool as a tribute but i thought they kinda overused it.the movie ain't even scary you pussies
seriously this movie is the shining all over again. toni collette was channeling shelley duvall HARD
i liked the movie tho. but as far as horror goes it was kind of stupid. 'the whale' was scarier if you ask me
