That’s what worries me, too. Plenty of regular folks walking around who practice Santeria, etc in their homes and you would never know unless you were invited to a mísa.The movie makes you wonder how many of these weird Satanic or Luciferian cult families are out there.
No one in that family had a chance, including Peter who was chosen before he was even born
Demonic family.
Reminds me of a story my mom told me. When she was like 19 or 20 she was out with her girlfriends partying and they got lost or something. Ended up in a suburban white area of Detroit, driving in some neighborhood with huge trees around midnight. At one point they decided to turn around and go the opposite way, so they pulled into a drive way that didn't have any cars in it; the garage was also open and car-less so they assumed nobody was there. The minute they entered the drive-way they saw people in white hoods+robes entering the home. Obviously the first thought was KKK/racist/etc and needless to say my mom backed out the drive way and sped away. The movie makes you wonder how many of these weird Satanic or Luciferian cult families are out there.

Yeeeeeeeea that shyt definitely happens under our noses all the time.Reminds me of a story my mom told me. They were so scared they didn't really talk about it that night. She dropped everyone off and went home. Next day they met up again and 2 of them were like "they must have been KKK right?" And the third girl who was in the car said she didn't think so because she heard loud, slow drums coming from the home. No one else in the car heard the drums, but the other girl was so convinced she heard it that it freaked them all out. To this day my mom thinks it was the beginning of a ritual or something.
I don't believe in supernatural shyt or gods, but clearly some people do...including those who worship what they deem to be Satan. And I'm sure they have rituals and events like in The Ninth Gate or whatever other similar movie you can think of. I loved Hereditary BTW and it was incredibly convincing based on how grounded it felt. Even the magic stuff was unsettling because it wasn't some fantasy shyt. Even though I don't believe in that shyt, the movie convinced me that's what it would look like if it was real.
We drunk the “blood” of Jesus and ate a cracker to represent his body every first Sunday in a Baptist church. Even as a child I knew religion was sick. The voodoo and Wiccan ones were no more crazy than oursYeeeeeeeea that shyt definitely happens under our noses all the time.
Wicca, Santeria, Palo, Voodoo, Etc.
I mean, think about various Christian faiths. If you’re catholic you sat through a procession of priests, alter boys, etc during service. Pastors, deacons, etc in the Baptist, Methodist, etc faiths.
Masons, Rosicrucians, etc.
Plenty of rituals happening around us, and many in secret.

They did way too much in this movie. Cac ass all over the placeYes it’s good, It’s like you expected the ending but it’s like wtf because it’s wayyy more than you expected.![]()

Def peep the remake of Suspiria if you haven't seen it. Similar approach.
I'd imagine the reality of this is more like Eyes Wide Shut. Secret societies, secret meetings, orgies, etc and while there is no magic shyt, there's a clearly sinister expression of behavior on display behind those doors.
