Should I watch Hereditary tonight?

There were plenty of people there who worshipped Paiman. There are some posters well versed in the different types of demons and the things they'll do in your life in exchange for something. Imo they're like parasites that will have a presence in your life all just so you can enjoy life with a smile on your face

This is why I don't think I'll be able to watch Hereditary simply because of how much realism is tied into it.

A24 has great films by I can only watch them through Dead Meat's kill count or Ending Explained.

The horror parts had more slasher scenes but there are a handful of very creepy WTF moments.

Also a very brutal torture scene I couldn't get through.

Honestly as much as I love the film yeah it kinda hits too close to home. That dark energy possession is real I had to sage and listen to certain frequencies just to cast the demons out that shyt is no joke.

Only movie I cut off cause I was too shook. When the naked people were celebrating in the treehouse that shyt felt like the same energy that would be in a Bohemian Grove/Eyes Wide Shut type gathering.
