Should Jak And Daxter get a reboot?

I think Naughty Dog should consider bringing the series back, especially after seeing how well the New Ratchet And Clank is doing.

Jak And Daxter is one of Sony’s earliest exclusive games and it was also highly successful both in terms of sales and reviews. It would be nice to see Naughty Dog give the series another chance.

I’m pretty confident with the success of Crash Bandicoot and Ratchet, it’s either in production or about to be. I don’t think Naughty Dog will be doing it as they’re probably very busy on other work but outsourced to another studio.

I also think Sly Cooper is in the works too

I don’t understand why Naughty Dog isn’t working on a new one. Jak 3’s open world was nice on the PS2. A new Jak and Daxter on the PS5 would be crazy.

That’s not a good reason though because they could make the people/world look realistic and add a homo NPC or villain
I wouldn’t even care if they turned Jak or daxter into a dyke. I didn’t mind playing as one in HZD

I’ve been hearing constant knocks against R&C for being a 12-15 hour baby game and now people want Sony’s premier studio to go back and make the same kind of game?

this is how you know gamers are weird they knock something when it’s overly serious and knock it when it’s all ages friendly just because it’s popular. Whatever the opposite of popular is is what’s in demand.

In all fairness Jak 2 and 3 weren't really baby games, they were way darker than Jak 1.

Not saying they were MA but they weren't kiddy either, there was some cursing/violence/death and the story was pretty dark at times (it basically took place in a dystopian future).

I owned the entire trilogy, they did change it up in two and 3 but it kind of covers the same ground as R&C, platformer shooter with some car chases and set pieces. The age demo is more like 12 and up rather than 6 and up

Jak 1 was the only kiddish game in the series. Jak 2 and 3 had it’s funny moments but those games were still pretty dark and gritty compared to the first one.
