Jak 1 was the only kiddish game in the series. Jak 2 and 3 had it’s funny moments but those games were still pretty dark and gritty compared to the first one.

Not in the wheelhouse of current day Naughty Dog, dark and gritty. It’s like teen titans

They can outsource it to another developer. It may not be as good but I think the devs who made Crash 4 can take a stab at it. Crash 4 was on par imo with the ND developed Crash Bandicoot titles. Let another dev handle a Jak or Ape Escape reboot.

Them outsourced games are never as good as they were with the original developer. Little big planet went from top 5 to not mentioned at all.

Doesn’t make sense for them to compete with sony and microsoft. The hybrid console is what saved them after wii-u, they have an entire market to themselves (not counting cellphones and tablets)
