Because if he's interested it might come down to maxing Harrison Barnes to keep him or Kevin Durant likely taking a discount that is near what Barnes' max would be (to keep Iggy and/or Bogut).

LeBron didn't join a team that won 73 games and who could potientially back to back titles. Not to mention Steph is considered a top 2 player in the league. Klay and Draymond best days (prime) are still ahead of them and they couldn't have been said for Wade and Bosh.
