Banks was only successful in the past because he had 50 behind him and he was riding the wave. He doesn't have star quality or THE X FACTOR and now 50 isn't behind him we can see what his like on his own. Does he expect someone else to push him and motive him and do the work, or has he been there done that and doesn't care. Who knows.
But he does seem quite happy doing him and you can't blame him look at todays mainstream.

Banks is not lazy. He's one of the most consistent mcs in the game. He's dropping dope ass mixtapes (that sound like albums) on regular basis like no other rapper even though he's always touring around the world. 50 association is hurting him now more than helping at the moment.
Releasing rap albums isn't as easy as some of ya think especially with the way record sales are falling nowadays.

I dont care what anybody says, Banks dropped the best album of 2004 which was one of the last great years for hip hop
