Wrong, had my kids... Court gave her custody just for being a woman despite admitting I was the better parent... Where was the wellbeing??

On a biological level, it is in the child's best interest to be with the mother early in life.

I'm not sure about your individual circumstances, but most men who apply for joint custody are granted it. Even though you may be the "better" parent it doesn't mean you should have more of a right to the child. It should be equal unless her parenting is a danger to him.

My life is good I have no problem. U have a problem with my opinion because it's some truth in what I'm saying. U say the system is the way it is. Why not change the system ? The system has been changed before why can't the system be changed now when woman are abusing the system. men/non custodial parents need to work to ensure family court cs and custody laws are reformed
non custodial parents need more rights
etc etc.

i disagree with this signing your rights away bullshyt and i think its unrealistic. never have i said that women should be able to abuse the system or that men shouldnt seek to change it.
i strongly believe the system should and can be changed, i do not agree that this type of law has any chance of being passed nor do i think its any where near the best choice to expand and protect fathers rights.

I think it is 100% fair since abortion is legal. If abortion was illegal, then this would be wrong, but it's not.


The only negative thing that I can think of about this is that If the mom wanted it and the dad didn't, she will still have the child, but the child won't know it's bio dad. I guess that's something that both would have to live with though, just like the guy would have to live with being childless if someone aborted his baby when he wanted to keep it. I doubt that would be a big issue though b/c there are already lots of single mothers with absent fathers. It'll just be legal now, and no child support. Maybe people will stop calling them "dead beat dads" too.

Not sure how I feel about this, but I don't see myself in this situation anyway.

I will say that many women will get a reality check with this. No more having a baby in hopes of keeping a man. No more trying to trap a baller. Groupies are going to be MAD.

This! All of this would not be possible anymore. I think it's better for children if this happens. That means that most/all children will have a parent or parents who want them.

I don't think it's difficult to explain why you only have a mom and no dad, especially because it is becoming much more common to have 2 dads and no mom or 2 moms and no dads.

I could see some women not telling the man that she's pregnant within the allowed time period or saying they don't know who the father is until after the time period is up. But maybe the men could sign over their rights even before she gets pregnant.

I think this would make women be more careful about who they let have unprotected sex with them, which is great for everyone. This could also make sex partners talk about what would happen if they get pregnant before they have sex. Maybe this could help decrease the spread of STDs and the number of abortions.

I absolutely support some sort of pre sex contract. That's exactly when these thoughts and conversations should take place, not after the positive pregnancy test.
