Should men be forced to pay child support if they let the woman know in advance that they don’t want the child?

Am I not a citizen of the United States that is affected by the same laws as everyone else? I’m suppose to just be out here at the mercy of the law? My calendar says 2022 but I guess y’all still in the 50s.

Mann, y’all got it :mjlol: I hear y’all.. there are seldom situations that a Man can get a 2nd chance or way out, and that’s what comes with being one.. but I don’t have this “take it to the chin” approach you guys are pushing.
You skip over the part where you control being subject to those laws

It is a medical condition period.

Decisions on getting preganant, staying pregnant, giving birth, and having an abortion all have great implications on the mothers health.

That's like saying your paycheck is a medical issue because we know that socioeconomic status has a great impact on one's health.

Abortions stats are murky and skewed because we primarily have numbers for working-class / poor families that already have a disadvantage in access to reproductive planning and care. Not only that, some states don't even report their numbers, nor ask for anything.

I don't think folks acknowledge the history of child support, nor how the policy became a tool of incarceration for black men despite it being a punishment for white men who fled their households.

I'm on the fence, but more state resources should be given to children regardless of their parental situation.
That's socialism , dear and we can't have that in murica. Shoots gun in air.

The reason this doesn’t work is that SOMEBODY has to support the child.

As a society we have decided against socialism. Therefore the people that make the baby are on the hook for its support.
The mother who decided to have the child is right there to do that

It can’t be 1 person has a choice to keep the child and the other party is forced to do watever they do

The more y’all argue against that the more it makes me feel SCOTUS got it right. Y’all tryna say woman have no responsibility fr, are they kids themselves?

I get it breh condoms + choosing better.

my thing is if a collective of men wanted to advocate for a law to bypass financial responsibility to the child.. it would be an issue. Just like mandatory paternity test would be an issue.

Like I keep saying over and over, y’all keep alluding to women being one thing and men the other. That’s completely fine, I just want society as a whole to stop promoting we are the same.

Yeah, there's definitely some wack ass double standards in this world. People just need to admit it.

Women got theirs, we got ours.

But comeon yall, yeah you gotta pay cause you chose to shoot up the club.

But I have always wondered something....

let's say you get some head from a bustdown broad, she keeps the nut, gets pregnant with it. I guess you still have to pay child support technically, but can't you sue her for something? :patrice:
Nope. U can’t sue her. Lol. U can also be married to a woman and she cheat on u and has a kid. U divorce her u still can be hooked into child support. I don’t like double standards on a government level. There’s always gonna be double standards in life. But on a government level men get the shytty end of the stick FAR too often.
