mike has to capitalize his earning potential. He lost so much cash when he went to jail with that voided contract. He gotta keep getting checks as long as possible.

Right, not saying he's broke but he can never make that time back. Plus he was seriously in debt when he went to prison. If I remember half that contract he got from philly went to paying off those loans.
Saw this when he didn't even attempt to dive for a fumble on the very first play he was in on a botched handoff.
He simply isn't into the game anymore, you can hear it in interviews and he wasn't when Foles took his job either .

Mike knew the coach & especially the GM will give Geno every opportunity to be the starter considering he was a 2nd round pick with aspirations to be the future while clearly seeing vick is nothing but a stop gap. With that being said I think vick is a much better QB at this point than geno & he was one of if not the highest paid back up QB.
I believe 100% vick will get a opportunity this year, the jets secondary is in shambles right now & ivory & CJ haven't been impressive & decker is NOT a #1 option at wr so but the jets will have to figure out a way to put a lot of points. Also their schedule is brutal:
Besides that 1st raiders game which won't be a gimmie, they have packers, bears, lions chargers, broncos, & pats. That's 6 QB's that will put up huge numbers against their defense. The jets will probably start off with a bad record, as soon as geno starts throwing int's and/or they start loosing games rex will make the switch...

Foles didnt have problems with that line last year
Jason Peters may be the best LT in football. Lane Johnson was a top 5 pick at RT. Jason Kelce is one of the most athletic centers. Evan Mathis was a pro bowler.
