I understand what you are saying and how another person's size can affect everyone around them. But I have a soft spot, my brothers are bigger. So I have seen how people react to them. Making no excuses for their size I still don't see the point in treating someone less human because of it. :whoa: not saying you are/do. Just the reactions in the thread that's all.

That's it. My pops was definitely embarrassed by the looks and other shyt he'd get from strangers, but what really hurt was that he seemed more concerned that he embarrassed me, which, as a young buck, might a' been true.

Can't ever get back the times he'd duck out or stay in the background so I could do my thing without worryin bout other folks that didn't even matter, grand scheme. shyt still burns.

if you take up 2 seats, you should pay for them :yeshrug: call it a wake up call

Reading this...:mjcry: I think about when I was little and I was probably the same way, it embarrassin me. Me being upset about how people looked at them or the making comments/jokes. Wanting to fight them for it. I wish their were somethings I could have done differently, and said forget what other people thought a long time ago.
Its the coli :yeshrug:

I'm not talking about them having to pay. I'm not making excused for them. I am talking about the reactions in this thread. It is a harsh reality/wake up call and you don't have to care that's you. I still don't like to see people humiliated and that's me.

I didn't make my statement out of humor. Its a safety risk and a personal comfort violation. You bought one seat and you take up more than your own seat. I took my girl to San Francisco for Valentine's Day to get out of Chiberia. The airline that best fit our schedule didn't have business class/first class seats to alleviate any possible issues like that. I'm not a huge guy, but Im taller and bigger than the average dude 6'1, 200lbs. I need ALL my space that I paid for. My girl wanted the window seat so I obviously had to be in the middle then. The guy on the aisle seat was heavy set and kept swinging his leg over to my side. I checked the shyt out of dude like " Fam, don't let your leg come past this armrest again or its a problem." My girl was embarrassed but I was pissed because he knew he was bogus for doing that shyt. I don't care how fat you are or how much you way. Some people's body are fat N/S, those people can still fly fine, its the East/West fat bodied people who "spill" over onto other people's seats. Its not fair, its not right.

You must be "this" big to ride this ride...or you have to buy another seat." :birdman:

Majority airlines have the rule that if you can't sit comfortably with the arm rest down then you need to buy a second seat to accommodate.

Harsh but it is what it is.

I value the fukk outta my personal space so if you're invading then I'll let you know.

The Ummah!
I sat in the middle seat on a flight (3.5 hours) next to a guy in the aisle eating chettos, and he was so fat he had to tell the flight attendent to get him a seat belt extension. I was like :damn: It was one of the worst flights ever. and SMH @ the tag for this thread, someone delete/change that.
