Should Rockstar do a CJ prequel in LIberty City?

Games this gen and last take longer to develop than during ps2 era
With that said they milking the hell outta gta online, which is a double edge sword for gamers
They'll be announcing a new red dead sometime soon though that seems like the logical next game for them

No, they really dont, this gen is based on x86 where as previous machines were all proprietary architectures that were difficult to develop for by comparison.

GTA 4 came out and a 2 years later Red Dead Redemption came out, we're going on year 3 since Rockstar released anything and the reason is pretty simple, GTA5 online is a cash cow. They had been on a pretty regular schedule with their games, garbage ass L.A. Noire came out before GTA 5.

I would like them to do a GTA game based on the 70s or 90s.

Or do a GTA similar to dead presidents where maybe the first have of the game you are fighting in Vietnam and the second half of the game you are a criminal back home in the states.

I now mafia 3 is coming out. But I am talking a out a game where you are fighting in Vietnam (similar to that Nam game that came out for PS 1 or 2) for half the game as a soldier. Then come home and get into criminal activity and become a crime boss.

Similar to the dead presidents movie. I have had this idea for years ever since the game mercenaries came out around the same time GTA 3rd person came out (liberty city).

They were releasing games all throughout that time as well, again does Rockstar make games anymore? What have they put out since 2013? All they've been doing is milking the shyt out of GTA5 online, where's the single player DLC? GTA4 had a 1 year wait for the Lost & Damned DLC, so....?

Also, if there was a GTA SA 'stories' it would more than likely go in on the past of a somewhat prominent member of that game's lore around the time, so the game would either be about Sweet or Ceasar's gangs coming up around the time CJ ran off or it could possibly be about his brother Brian.

Vice City Stories was on Vance's brother, of whom they had to create a story for and Liberty City Stories was on Tony Cipriani, a mid level goon they expanded on. To be honest, I'd love to see them make a game set in the Vice City Timeline on Ricardo Diaz. Outside of the Lost and the Damned cats, he was the only NPC I could see with enough history and personality to warrant a whole game to himself.

The years he spent building his empire/rep before Vercetti's fakkit ass came and shot it (and him) to shyt, would be GOAT.
