you are missing the point. im talking in terms of law. why shouldnt they be able to run? people could just not vote for them or the major parties could simply not support or endorse them.

does sarah palin have a good understanding of the world? she was a VP candidate and may run in the future. most people think shes not a good candidate and doesnt understand the world so she will not, in all likelihood, get a nomination for Prez or win the presidency. Are you telling me its impossible for someone who is 30-34 to not have a better understanding of the world or be a better president than Sarah Palin? All types of crazies run for president all the time. They generally dont get any significant votes.

Like i said on the first page...

Obama became President in his 40's and i think that is an appropriate age range.

Face it even white people didn't wan't a John McCain in his 70's and that's why Obama won.

So i really don't have much else to say on this topic, sorry...

the brains of older people are not fully formed?

ok.

are all old people with fully formed brains "smart" or more worthy of a presidential bid than someone who is 34? you said brains arent fully formed until 25 or so why cant a 30 year old run but an 80 year old can? lets say everything else is equal between a 30 and 80 year old...will an 80 year olds brain and body be able to handle the rigors of the office better than the 30 year old? who would be a better president: JFK Jr before the age of 35 or Sarah Palin 35 years old or older?

That probably is the appropriate age range and is probably the age range (40's-50's, some cases 60's) that many presidents will win the oval office at. Dont vote for other people then. :manny:

40's & 50's are fine by 60 many people are out of touch with society.

Ah yes...and that same vetting process wouldnt apply to candidates under the age of 35 right?
correct because the law says they can't run
I don't feel mad:lupe:

I guess pornstars can run for office under law but people under 35 cant. The pornstars have a fully developed brain though so its all good.
correct again, because the law says they can't run, you're 2 for 2 :beli:

You told me why you wouldnt vote for someone younger than 35 not provide me a true reason for why the law should be amended other than "law x = law x therefore law x means y" or because "brains arent fully formed". Even multiple IQ Tests (with all of their flaws) would be a better reason to exclude candidates (specifically those 30-34) in terms of keeping the law as is than just saying their brains may not be fully formed. A bunch of idiots are fully grown. So what?

Would you vote for an 80 year old or 34 year old everything else equal?
