Actually, I had no issues with butler asserting himself.
It just came when rose was coming back and it was probably bizzarro land to everyone.
With a new coach and now butler as the new it guy.
I think it threw everyone for a loop to come in and the guy who has the lower draft pedigree who got where he got from actual hard work is now vocal.
That can be weird and with a new coach who had no experience and also who did not have the bulls playing tenacious.
Including thibs being ousted for supposedly precipitating injuries from over exhaustion[which we now know is a lie, cause the bulls were injured again and thibs was wrongly ousted].
So, couple that with butler seeing them lacking and with that kinda bizzarro unfamiliar social team dynamic and transfer of power taking place.
I, just think it was more that dynamic that is there.
I don't really see an issue and this team on paper.
if they played big and were healthy would have been as formidable as anyone.
It is just the social dynamic and social hierarchy of who is now the man and how it played out.
even from player to coach caught them off guard.
Bulls should have never gotten rid of thibs.
As thibs ruled with how you really coach a bball team for real and for them to oust him with their reasoning was bullshyt.
With that said,...i go off to make my campaign for thibs to be the wolves coach thread.

I think the question isn't so much jimmy's talent level ..does he have limitations offensively ..obviously he does
But This komes down more to jimmy realizing that himself and rather then bein the only top dog realizing he has to be able to co exist with others in order for them to win. .
At this point his mental make up and how he blends with his coach and team.mates is more of a weakness , then his shortcomings as a player
