This always struck me as a difficult talking point.

On one hand, you've got religious people trying to protect their conservative sexual values and think that endorsing sex without reproduction challenges that belief.

On the other hand, women claim that it helps to manage their menstruation and of course helps women to plan their reproduction.

But should the government pay for all medical related expenses? Is this crossing the line similar to how insurance doesn't cover plainly cosmetic procedures?

Every once in a while the coli shows its true colors. This thread will be a fukk show.

I say yes because its not just a womans issue. Its a societal issue. Some dudes will blame females for everything regardless tho.
???

Fam, this is birth control. It IS a woman's issue.

I mean yes, is it a beneficial item? Absolutely. But its not entirely medically necessary.

Paying for birth control is the logical slippery slope into promoting eugenics.

There's your societal issue.

It wasn't that long ago that Black women and Native American women and 'lesser' white women were sterilized against their will and without their consent. Happened one hundred years ago, happened 50 years ago, happened 20 years ago. We may even find out that it's still happening, but they've gotten slicker about it.

Besides, you don't pay for just women's birth control, you pay for men's as well.

Margret Sanger would be very proud of the current state of the black community, we're all falling right in order with their plans

Actually yes, birth control pills are very cheap and will reduce the amount of unplanned pregnancies in impoverished communities. In conjunction with the use of condoms will nearly eradicate the chance of accidental pregnancies. Now this needs to happen in conjunction with increased education about the ups and downs, but I can assure you in the long run that this cheaper than raising unwanted children in the system and giving out welfare.
