The fact of the matter is that Margret Sanger and the Eugenicists society and planned parenthood are mainly supplying these services for black people world wide.

Meanwhile in European countries they are spending billions of dollars in fertility drugs & research to bring their population up.

Keep playing checkers brehettes
:snoop: No you dumbass. EVERY DEMOGRAPHIC uses abortion. And this isn't about abortion. Its about birth control.

@Ill and @ExodusNirvana I'm well aware of that freakanomics post and the surrounding arguments...but on principle, should the government pay?

This isn't a medical decision we're talking here. This is family planning, good or bad.

And yes, relief from menstruation etc.

I prefer my government to keep their hands off my body (basically allow people to make their own decisions) but in this situation i think its for the greater good of our country to pay for BC.

Be specific in how I'm wrong and I'll correct myself.
You're wrong because you're attempting to debate whether or not Planned Parenthood was part of an elaborate conspiracy by Margaret Sanger to destroy the black community or black people.

This has not only been debunked but is also silly because as @Napoleon pointed out, all ethnicities have abortions and the only reason some might not is for things like religious reasons.

Your argument holds no real place in abortion or Planned Parenthood debates because your platform itself holds no merit.

Why are most planned Parenthood's in black communities then? And why don't they ever "accidentally" inject European women with birth control in the same fashion that black and brown women seem to always happen to?

You are making your own decisions in this case. Government paying for BC just means that the poorest people have access to it

Paying for birth control is the logical slippery slope into promoting eugenics.

There's your societal issue.

It wasn't that long ago that Black women and Native American women and 'lesser' white women were sterilized against their will and without their consent. Happened one hundred years ago, happened 50 years ago, happened 20 years ago. We may even find out that it's still happening, but they've gotten slicker about it.

Besides, you don't pay for just women's birth control, you pay for men's as well.
It's still being done. Black women's bodies do not do well with Depo shot or hormonal birth control. But birth control SHOULD be available for free because condoms, etc are cheaper than diapers and food stamps and HIV meds.

Fam, this is birth control. It IS a woman's issue.

I mean yes, is it a beneficial item? Absolutely. But its not entirely medically necessary.

Why are most planned Parenthood's in black communities then? And why don't they ever "accidentally" inject European women with birth control in the same fashion that black and brown women seem to always happen to?
Not even being a dikk here, read the article posted above and it answers all your questions.

no because the govt shouldn't pay for birth control, abortion should be illegal and the safety net should be eliminated completely. that's the only consistent position. that way i can walk around my city (with a couple burners because of the increased crime) with double the population and observe the starving people in the alley. shyt there might even be some fine ass broke women on the street willing to blow me for a quarter to get my day started off right (the free market brehs :win:).
imagine how good the pedos will eating in this new environment, no wonder they lean libertarian. shyt will be like paki/afghani(stan) with 10 year olds selling their booty holes to bring home the bacon and it will be accepted as "it's just a part of american culture, people have to eat ya know" :yeshrug:

Yup. This issue is constantly misrepresented, even by the threadstarter. Why are people talking about eugenics and abortion? Its got nothing to do with this issue. Its not about the government specifically funding birth control, its about the government allowing birth control medication to be covered by the same health plans that already cover heart medication, diabetes medication, psychiatric drugs etc etc.

The answer is obviously yes.
