Should the Killzone Franchise be put to death?

After several failed attempts to reach the throne of the best FPS on consoles it's obvious GG is only good at being a niche developer who excels in the graphical department as far as FPS go. i think sony should take a serious look at the IP and immediately pull all of GG staff away from the IP long term. GG is too talented to be stuck behind a failed IP that hasn't showed any growth since KZ2.

I didn't really spend any time on the previous Killzone games, but this new one is not winning me over. There isn't anything inherently wrong with it, but it just seems so boring. Hopefully it picks up later in the game. I'm only one the second mission where you go to the space station but so far I am not impressed.

I'd like them to work on something different just to see what they can come up with. I like the Killzone games outside of the first one and have really enjoyed Shadowfall.
