Forgive me if my math is off but the cap is gonna be around $60 mil. If you amnesty Kobe that means you keep Pau. So that's Pau getting $20 mil, Dwight getting damn near $20 mil, Metta getting like 7. So that's like $45 mil aka 75% of the cap for 3 guys aka 25% of the roster. All amnestying Kobe would do is save them some luxury tax money.
